Hi, everyone.
The question is about clipping a volume geometry. I need your help:)
Assume there is already a cylinder in the scene. Now I want to add a three dimension volume data(not ldm format, just three dimension array), it's shape might be a cube. My intension is to clip the 'cube' by the cylinder. There are many volume data maybe.
Initially my idea was to simulate a LDM data file outside, then through VolumeViz module to implement it. I didn't to practiced it:(
Is there a better way(fast and efficient) to get the result I want?

Hey there,

currently i am a little bit confused, about getting the normal of a
SoIndexedFaceSet object.

I have a SoIndexedFaceSet in my scenegraph and i would like to get some
information about this object when i pick on it.

I have created a SoPickAction and retrieve the information about the
SoPickedPoint object of the SoPickAction.

I retrieve the information if would like to have with:

pickedPoint->getNormal();

The problem is, when rotating the camera the sign of the normal values changes.
Example:
before: normal[0] = 1, normal[1] = -1, normal[2] = 1
after : normal[0] = -1, normal[1] = 1, normal[2] = -1

As i believe, the normal should always be the same, shouldn't it?

Any clues about this?

Thanks in advance...
