Help: "System.NullReferenceException" exception

Hi, guys, I am running a program but when I close the window, it ends up with an unhandled exception which tells that 'System.NullReferenceException' occurred .

The developing envirenment: vs2003+open inventor 7.1

Obviously this is not the normal behavior. :)
Can you give us a little more information about your situation?

For example:
Are you using C++ or C#?
If it crashes in the debugger can you send the call stack so we can see where it's crashing?

As usual, if you have a maintenance contract, you should report this to the customer support Hotline (3d_hotline at mc.com or 3d_hotline_europe at mc.com) to ensure an issue is logged and tracked.
