Movie Maker --> PNG: first frame corrupt

Hi,

when creating a movie as a series of PNGs from a TimeSeriesControl, the first frame comes out quasi-empty, containing only parts of Avizo's title bar. All the other frames are fine. The problem is not graphics card specific, as a colleague of mine experiences exactly the same phenomenon. We are using Avizo 5.1.0 under Linux.

Does it only happen when exporting in PNG ?
It seems to be a bug. Please report it to the 3d_hotline_europe@mc.com and you wil get an answer from the support team.

No, it happens also with other image formats and MPEG. It seems like the first frame just isn't being drawn.

By the way, while making a movie, frames are not drawn inside the viewer, but in the left-hand corner of the screen (which is why there is sometimes part of the title bar in the first frame). Is this normal behavior?

This movieMaker issue is recorded as zBUG 2301 and should be fixed in Avizo 5.2.
