I have time series data with about 400 time steps. Avizo refuses to make a complete movie for no apparent reason. It just halts after some time (e.g. at the 62nd or the 66th frame, on a lucky day I could produce 200 frames) in the middle of loading new data and all one can do is kill it.
The number of cached time steps is set to 0, there is no memory problem and Avizo doesn't seem to use CPU time anymore. I am in general not very happy with the stability of Avizo, it feels like poorly tested beta software most of the time (anyone agree?). This bug is very annoying though, as I don't have the time to make 400 screenshots by hand.

I "solved" the problem by making a Tcl script which loads the data, timestep after timestep, and makes the necessary snapshots...
