Hi,
I am a new user. I have a voxelized random packed of spheres. I have created mesh for simulation with CFD. I can import the mesh; however, there is no inlet or outlet boundaries. I do not know how can I define the boundaries. I would appreciate if you could help me. Thanks... |

Are you exporting the surface via VRML-Export?

Hi,
I am sorry, I cannot understand the problem. What I have done is that segmentation, surface construction and mesh generation. I exported the mesh data as Fluent format (.cas). When I open the mesh in Fluent Ansys, I saw only two surfaces; interior and exterior. For simulations, I need to define inlet and outlet boundaries. I do not how to define. Thanks. |

Try to attach a "VRML-Export" module (in Compute) to surface, to export it to wrl file.
I think Fluent Ansys can open this files, that doesn't have this problems with boundaries. |

Boundary mesh, which is 2D surface mesh, needs to be created to represent boundaries used in CAE software. We are working on a white paper to describe in detail the necessary steps. Stay tuned.
