Default Binder connectivity

Hi,

I'm working with some carbide cements with Avizo Fire 6.3.
I have done the appropiate segmentation and labelling of two phases (carbide and binder), so now I can extract some information about volume and surfaces.

Now I want to extract information about binder connectivity, or "mean free path".
I don't know how can I do this analysis.

I see that there are some works about pore analysis in rocks (like this http://www.vsg3d.com/sites/default/f...g-x-ray-CT.pdf) where they analyse the connectivity between pores.

I'm not sure if this is by "AutoSkeleton" module. I've some problems with this module, because everytime I tried to do, Avizo stops responding while thinning process, at some iteration (sometimes at 9th, other times at 64th).

I didn't see any example of tutorial about this in help.
Where can I get more information about connectivity and AutoSkeleton module?

I found what's went wrong, and I did the skeleton. About this: Is there a way or command to modify the 'length of ends' of thinner in "AutoSkeleton" module?

If I'm right, with skeleton I can only extract thickness and length information.
How can I get the orientation of the lines, to be able to classify it?
And how can I extract more information, for instance, number of different joint types?

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, again.

I have an skeleton. Every line goes from node to node.
Is there a way to get a longest stretch? I only can extract length information about individual lines (even if they are connected, the values are for individual lines).

Also, I don't know how I have to use the Quantification module "prune" to remove branches.
Which data I have to use, if I have a 3D skeleton?

More things about skeleton: I think skeletonization in Avizo uses a "curve thinning" ('b' in the image), i.e., the "Thinner" module.
How can I do a "surface thinning"? ('c' in the image)
