Georeference two files in Avizo

Hello

I have a problem.

I have 2 files, one DEM map and one photo of this area.I used them together in a GIS program and they are georeferenced but when i open them in Avizo their coordinance system doesn't work.

Is there any way so i can import them georeferenced (or georeferenced them in any way) ???

Hi Dimitris,

Currently Avizo does not handle georeferenced information. However, the software toolkit that Avizo is built upon, Open Inventor (another VSG product), will support georeferenced information with its new 8.1 version, more specifically via GeoVRML format. This means that the capability is on its way, and impatient users can use Avizo 6.2 Xpand version to start playing around with it.

If you really want to combine two different objects together, you can just use Transformation module for one of them and adjust it to another in 3D view space, fit it's size and so on, if you have a good picture in GIS to compare with, you can do it simple.
