Hi Everyone,

I have some images from a CT experiments that I trying to segment with AVIZO 7.0 Standard. I could identify at least four phase on the image and I could segment two of them using the magic wand (region-growing). The problem I have now is the segmentation of the phase with small spiked structures with AVIZO. I am attaching one image here to show you the problem. See that there are some particles decorated with spikes and it is these regions I would like to segment and separate from the black phase, which is water. After, I need to plot and analyze the radial profile of electron density of those particles with that spikes.

Do you have please some ideas of how I do that? Should I go to AVIZO fire in order to be able of doing that or can I stay on AVIZO standard? AVIZO Region-growing tool is the best choice for segment those structures?

I really appreciate your attention and your replies.
