? visualizing AVS UCD file

Hi:

I have some old data created from old Amira. These data files are

save in something like data.inp. I can visualize the data when I was

still using Avizo v6.0. But I cannot no longer visualize it using 6.1.1.

All I got is error message:

Error while opening file "data.inp":
File contains data in an unrecognized format...
Aborting because of previous errors...

How do I do so that I can still visualize my exsiting old data using the latest

Avizo v6.1.1?

I'm not sure what the problem is. I'll report this to our development team, and keep you posted when I get an answer.

I believe you have already heard back from the support team.

When opening a file with .inp extension, Avizo treats the file as an Abaqus file. This was changed with Avizo 6.1, which is why you got different behavior compared to Avizo 5.

You can override how Avizo treats the file when loading. When using the File Open dialog, right click on the file you need to open, and choose Format from the context menu. Then select AVS.
