Avizo can be customized by modifying .rc files in the /resources or /share/script-objects folders. These folders are found in $AVIZO_ROOT; Avizo XPand users can also store their modified .rc files in /resources and /share/script-objects in their $AVIZO_LOCAL, which will be recognized by any installed version of Avizo.
You must set an environment variable for $AVIZO_LOCAL. On Windows, you may make a "My Avizo" folder inside "My Documents" Inside the "My Avizo" folder, you can add the nested folder "share/script-objects" Now whenever you launch Avizo, the resource files (.rc) inside that folder will get processed, regardless of what version you are running.
Environment variables are set differently for each operating system. If you don't know how to create one for your O.S., you can consult your system administrator, or post a question to this forum.
See the users guide 12.3.5 and 12.5 for more info on this topic.
Thanks,
Mike
